Now reimagined for the 21st century, it features a bar, award-winning restaurant seating 32 and offering relaxed, fine dining plus seven elegant rooms.
Originally the village blacksmith’s shop and later the post office, 1863 Bar Bistro Rooms is a Victorian guesthouse set in the heart of Pooley Bridge on the shores of Ullswater.
