Ullswater itself is of course the main attraction. Surrounded by gently rolling countryside at the northern end around Pooley Bridge, a trip south down the lakeshore gives way to sheer fellsides that drop away into the water below, culminating in the majesty of England’s third highest mountain, Helvellyn.

Excited to share our Union Street neighbourhood story with #isolationbooth where art made friends, and weekly entertainment from April's Easter weekend last year with Cheryl Milby organised bingo, Rose Marie Downward began the quizzes, Derek Newton with his fantastic folk playing, with Bailey J H Parrington showbiz singing on the middle stage, Alison Rushton came up with the idea of the bra bunting with our bunting making & other fun things evolved within the 1st lockdown! The Ullswater Association is a membership group representing tourism businesses in and around the Ullswater Valley in the Lake District. We work on behalf of members to promote & enhance the area and to encourage visitors here.

We work on behalf of our members to provide information about where to stay,  what to do  & where to eat. We also promote the latest events, festivals, offers and deals to visitors & locals.
