Dinosaur Encounters

18th July @ 9:15 am - 5:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)
Daily until 3rd September 2017

Join us on an adventure through dusky prehistoric landscapes and marvel at moving, ROARING dinosaurs in a jaw-dropping exhibition from the Natural History Museum.

On the way to the Gallery, you will come face to face with the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex, a huge animatronic model 4 metres tall so lifelike you’ll think it’s the real thing! The Dinosaurs Encounter exhibition features ten more intricately detailed models, with state of the art animatronics and sound effects that will transport you back millions of years in time. Study replicas of ancient fossils taken from the Natural History Museum’s Archives, compare your feet to the footprint of a T-Rex and examine a replica of its skull which you can touch and feel! Grab a crayon and take rubbings from replica fossils and marvel at 3D printing technology – recreating ancient fossils that have been scanned and shared from museums around the world.Dinosaurs featured  – Tyrannosaurus Rex  | Ankylosaurus | Baryonyx | Ornithomimus | Triceratops | Oviraptor
