Welcome to Wordsworth Cottage – a spacious appointed 17th Century cottage in the heart of the Lake District. Offering newly renovated, characterful accommodation with all of the essential elements for a Lake District holiday cottage: a Woodburner, lots of beams, an Aga, oak floors, antique furniture mixed with contemporary bathrooms, sumptuous soft furnishings and a beautiful garden.
The cottage has an idyllic location on the outskirts of Patterdale – a picturesque Lake District village on the shores of Ullswater. Once owned by William Wordsworth, the cottage dates back to 1670.
Wordsworth Cottage is a charming, characterful and comfortable self-catering cottage – designed for up to 6 people. It retains characterful original features throughout, such as extensive exposed oak beams, an inglenook fireplace, and exposed stone.
