Unbelievable Ullswater – Walk

A circular walk up to the Cockpit between Barton Fell and Askham Fell to discover what makes Ullswater special. A short, steep climb for amazing views, returning to the campsite by the lakeshore.

Start point: Waterside House campsite. Meet outside the campsite shop
Price: Adult £5, child free. £6 campsite car park charge

Grade description
Moderate – Medium length walk of 6 km on hilly ground with rising and falling levels. A reasonable level of fitness is needed. Walking boots and equipment including warm, waterproof clothing are essential.
