Lake District Gyroplanes is based at it’s own airstrip at Berrier just a couple of miles to the north of Ullswater. It is run by Roger Savage who is a long term pilot of Aeroplanes, Helicopter and Gyrocopters. Roger is a senior Gyrocopter instructor and teaches people to fly these wonderful machines. He also provides incredibly exciting Gyrocopter Experience flights around the local area and wider Lake District, with flights lasting from 30 minutes to 90 minutes (or longer by arrangement).
